Access

From the 23rd of December 2023 to the 13th of April 2024, the bus Linkbus insure a correspondence every Saturday with the high-speed trains n°6193 and 6917 coming from Paris. The Linkbus takes you, from the train station of Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport to La Grave and Briançon.

Col du Lautaret

For your safety and to find out the winter traffic instructions (visibility, use of the chains), check the answering machine before taking the road: 04 65 03 00 05 or on the website inforoute des Hautes-Alpes where you will also find (icon in the top left corner, next to the weather forecast icon) webcams seen from the Cols d'altitude as well as from La Grave and Villar d'Arène.

The Hautes-Alpes department offers you to receive free e-mail alerts (icon named Alert Subscription when you hover over it with the cursor and located at the top left of the one with a telephone) concerning road closures for scheduled events (works, sports events, safety exercises...), road closures for unscheduled events (accidents, boulder falls, landslides, avalanches...) as well as winter closures and reopenings of mountain passes and access to high altitude sites.
