Visit and entertainment in the Garden of Lautaret
At 2 100m altitude, facing the glacier from la Meije, over 2000 species of alpine and mountain flowers and mountains from all over the world are gathered on 2 hectares of one of the most beautiful and high altitude garden in Europe.
Each year, the garden opens its doors from the 1st weekend of June to the 1st weekend of September.
Free or reduced admission at the beginning and end of the season (depending on flowering).
Guided tours are led by botany students from the University of Grenoble. Their knowledge will enrich your visit and provide interesting information about the microclimate of Lautaret, allowing species from afar to flourish up there. They will answer your questions with pleasure. Do not miss !

Overtures :
From 03/06 to 03/09, daily between 10 am and 6 pm.
Three visits per day:
- 10:30 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
- 4:00 p.m.

At an altitude of 2100 metres in the Lautaret garden, discover a unique place with numerous scientific discovery activities. Take advantage of its spaces including its multi-purpose rooms (meeting, congress, seminar, training...) available for MICE activities.

The Lautaret Garden is a hundred year old gem presenting a concentration of plants from mountains all over the world, with a view of the glaciers of la Meije. Without doubt one the most beautiful Alpine botanical gardens of Europe!
Botanical watercolor workshop weekend
Do you know the Pays des Ecrins ? The Meije glacier? It is in this preserved setting, in the Lautaret garden, during a weekend that you will be able to initiate yourself or improve your skills in various watercolor techniques.
