Do you know the Pays des Ecrins ? The Meije glacier? It is in this preserved setting, in the Lautaret garden, during a weekend that you will be able to initiate yourself or improve your skills in various watercolor techniques.

 

Every year, the association Gentiana and Patrick Jager propose you, during a weekend, to take your brushes and paint the flowers and the magnificent landscape of the Lautaret garden.

The techniques used allow to obtain a quick and satisfactory result in terms of representation of reality and its colors. This workshop allows you to acquire all the necessary bases for the realization of an illustrated herbarium.

Painter, writer, traveler, Patrick Jager has published several travel books, on Nepal, on the road to Santiago de Compostela, on the Alps and on the Chartreuse where he lives. He is a member of the society of mountain painters and has been leading botanical watercolor courses for more than twenty years.

Gentiana is a scientific association under the law of 1901. It is the result of the will of Isère botanists, activists of nature protection, members of learned societies and willing to develop a structure allowing to know and preserve the vegetal heritage of Isère.
