La Grave la Meije's cable car

The cable car takes you to the Ruillans Pass at 3211m and to the Girose Glacier. You will contemplate a grandiose panorama: at your feet glaciers and crevasses, near the Meije (3983m) and in the distance from the peaks as far as the eye can see from Vercors to Mont Blanc.

2150 m difference !
A majestic panorama awaits - to be discovered with family or friends. At the top station, you'll find a mountain restaurant with a sunny terrace where you can rest in a deck chair in the sun while admiring the breathtaking view and taking in the alpine atmosphere. Relax and enjoy !
With the Girose glacier at your feet, let your eyes travel from the Belledonne massif to the Thabor, passing the Aravis and the Mont Blanc on the way. A stupendous 360° !
The gaping crevasses of the glacier may be approached roped up and in the company of a mountain guide ( see ' Walks on the Girose Glacier', organized by the Mountain Guides Office).
There are walking and mountain biking trails at your disposal, most of them start at the mid station at 2400 m.
In the winter, the cable car gives you access to a unique off-piste ski area.
