►Day 1 - Arrival:
On arrival at the hotel, you'll take time to settle in and get to know the team. Afterwards, an aperitif is planned in the presence of your tour leader, where advice and conviviality will be the order of the day for the presentation of your stay. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy a meal served in our restaurant from 7.30pm.

►Day 2 - Boucle des Combettes 1990m :
Before setting off on your hike, our supervisor will provide you with the equipment: TSL-type plate snowshoes and hiking poles as well as a DVA, probe and shovel. You'll start your stay with a 'warm-up' day to discover, at your own pace, a long, wide valley facing the Meije massif.

►Day 3 - Puy Chevalier 2050 m or Montagne du Puy du Cros 2100 m :
A day with a change of scenery and a balcony overlooking the Ecrins. This hike, slightly off the beaten track of the Pays de la Meije, will allow you to discover new viewpoints. From the Conchiers 1547m, our south-facing route will undoubtedly bring us face to face with the large ungulates that frequent this area. Ibexes and mouflons are often found here.
Ascent: 550m maximum

►Day 4 - Col de la Pare 2155m - Balcon de la Meije :
Panoramic days follow one another, with the Meije massif always in focus. A steady climb from the hotel takes us to this small pass between two valleys. On this route we'll have the opportunity to observe the fauna: roe deer, chamois, large birds of prey...

►Day 5 - Bosse des Plagnes - Cote rouge through the forest 2277m - Les Clots - Ventelon: This day will be spent on the adret facing the Meije and its glaciers, with the first part of the climb in the forest. This 'traversée' route offers a beautiful panorama from the north of the Ecrins massif to the Grandes Rousses massif. We'll take advantage of the passage through the hamlet of Clots to develop a theme on the traditional architecture of the Haute Romanche.
Difference in altitude (positive and negative): 470m + / 520m -.

►Day 6 - Vallon du Pic Blanc du Galibier 2470m :
This final day is intended to be panoramic and at 'altitude'. We'll head up a small valley to emerge on a flat revealing a view from Monte Viso 3841m to La Meije 3983m via the massif's highest point: the Barre des Ecrins 4103m.
Ascent: 520m
Effective walking time excluding break and picnic: 3h30 to 4h30
On our return, we'll have a quick debriefing over a drink.

►Day 7: The end of your trip
After a sporting and emotionally rich week, it will already be time to say goodbye after breakfast. This trip is level 2 (moderate) it is elaborated for those looking for an active and contemplative discovery.

►In order to enjoy this trip:
Be used to mountain hiking, snowshoeing experience at this level is preferable.
Be able to hike for 3h30 to 4h30 of effective walking per day on a positive difference in altitude ranging from 400 to 600m.

Technical aspects: Our valley is 'alpine', so you'll need to be able to negotiate slopes that are sometimes overhanging.
